A book enclosure with a slim profile
The recorded application was to place books in the packaging. The rectangular plan and half-inch depth gave the brief a precise relationship between footprint and thickness.
For book presentation, the enclosed volume has its own length, width and spine thickness. Those dimensions belong together when considering the slipcase format.
Slipcase construction around the book format
The enclosure style was a slipcase. Its format makes the surrounding sleeve a substantial part of the book presentation.
At just 0.5 inches deep, this order had a particularly slim profile. The distinction between the book itself and the enclosing package matters to how the overall specification is understood.
Ribbon and matte-laminated printing
Ribbon added a separate presentation element to the slipcase. Printing and matte lamination defined the branded surfaces and their low-gloss finish.
The project therefore combined the physical book enclosure with an additional ribbon detail. The surface treatment completed the specification without changing the basic slim format.
A slim book-presentation order in a 100-unit quantity
The order paired 100 slipcases with an 8.5 × 5.5 × 0.5-inch format, ribbons and matte-laminated printing.
It is a focused example of book packaging where the enclosure proportions, added ribbon and printed finish contribute different details to the presentation.
