Help with the box itself

We’ll help you choose the box and insert.

Product shape, weight, presentation and delivery all influence the design. Share what you know about the contents, plus any artwork or references. We can help with the technical choices.

Start with the fit.

The contents help determine box dimensions and how the insert should hold each item.

See your artwork on the box.

Use the 3D digital mockup to check artwork placement and layout before approving the design.

Decide if you need a sample.

An existing sample can give you a reference for materials or construction. A custom sample is made to your project’s specifications. Costs depend on the type.

Discuss budget and deadline early.

These constraints help narrow the choice of materials, finishes and construction.

Start with the packaging job

What’s the box for?

A kit sent to individual recipients needs different planning from boxes delivered together for an event. Explore the use case that matches your project.

Custom rigid-box capabilities

Build the box around your product and how it needs to travel.

Box styles, inserts and finishes each do a different job. Here’s what to consider.

Need the opening to create a strong reveal?

Decide how the lid should open.

Consider the lid, the order products appear and what the recipient sees first.

  • Custom rigid boxes
  • Magnetic closures
Need products held securely?

Hold each item in place.

A fitted insert helps hold the contents in place. It also needs to let the recipient lift them out easily.

  • Custom inserts
  • Product trays
  • Ribbon pulls
Want texture or a printed detail?

Choose the finish for the design.

Use foil to pick out a detail, or discuss embossing, debossing and textured materials for a different feel.

Working to a fixed date?

Have a date the boxes need to arrive?

Give us the in-hands date and delivery location, along with the product and quantity. We’ll check whether a rush order is feasible.

Work back from arrival.

We consider manufacturing, packing and transit against the date you provide.

Check which options fit.

A short schedule may limit the choice of construction or finishes. We’ll discuss feasible alternatives.

Include sample time.

Tell us if you need a physical sample so it can be allowed for alongside production and delivery.

Rush orders carry additional charges. Availability depends on the box, quantity, materials, sampling needs, production capacity and delivery location. Timing and any rush charges are confirmed with the quote.

Need a rush quote?

Send the date, quantity and destination.

We’ll assess the available options and explain the costs and timing before you decide.

Check Rush Feasibility

Before you request a quote

What’s included, and what still needs confirming?

Use these answers to prepare your enquiry. Project-specific prices and timing are confirmed in the quote.

Is there a minimum order?

Include the quantity you have in mind, even if it’s an estimate. We’ll confirm any minimum that applies to the proposed box.

Do I need a dieline to ask for a quote?

No. Tell us about the product and we’ll help work out the box and dieline. Dimensions, artwork and reference images are useful if available.

Is the mockup free?

Yes. The initial 3D digital mockup is free.

Can I request design changes?

Yes. You can request design revisions. A change to the box’s dimensions, materials or construction may also change the price and schedule.

How much does a physical sample cost?

It depends on the sample requested. Ask about a sample from previous work or a custom sample made to your brief; we’ll confirm the cost for that option.

How do rush charges work?

Rush work is assessed on request. If the job is feasible, we’ll include the additional charge with the quote. An arrival date is needed to assess timing.

What if I change the order details?

Changes to quantity, size, materials or finishes can affect the price and delivery plan. Confirm the revised quote before approving the changed order.

Will your branding appear on my packaging?

No. We use your client-approved artwork and leave SleekBoxes branding off the packaging.

Ready to discuss your packaging?

Start with the idea you have.

Tell us what you want to pack and how the box will be used. Add any photos, artwork or reference images you have.

A rough brief is enough to begin.
